Saturdays and Sundays will sound a little bit different beginning August 2, when WCMU introduces a new weekend schedule. Programs like Tiny Desk, This Old House and Snap Judgement will be joining our lineup, while other programs will be moving to new days and times.

Meet Elijah Lewis, Great Lakes Jobs Explained Host! What are you most excited for as host of Great Lakes Jobs Explained? I am most excited to connect and tell the stories of so many local organizations, companies, and career fields. I can’t want to tell untold stories and engage with younger audiences and help promote such great opportunities for early job seekers. What was your college major? Broadcast and Cinematic Arts Do you have a favorite social site to use? Are you looking forward to getting deeper into a certain social media for this job? I love Instagram, it’s where I post most of my content and videos, I am looking forward to learning the ins and outs of Youtube Shorts, and how to best engage with Gen-Z! What can we expect to see from Great Lakes Jobs Explained in the future? You can expect to see fun, exciting, and relatable content for Gen-Z and current early job seekers. I will be showing you in demand careers in Central and Northern Michigan that are highly accessible for everyone, with minimal requirements needed, and little to no debt!
